My notes on researching inflatable boats started in 2006-and continuing. This blog tracks my observations during my search for a dive inflatable. I also turned on AdSense for a trial period so there may be related advertising shown on my pages, we'll see how it goes and decide later to remove it or keep it. Hi I found an old Yukon for sale but am having a hard time finding information on them. Do you know if they were all hypalon? Any information or hints appreciated,

Sorry I don't know if they made anything using other than hypalon.

Where did you learn about the ex president of Yukon working for zodiac?

I communicated with him during the 1990's and kept a letter I got from him so I had his name on file. Since Yukon disappeared from selling and making their inflatables I tried to look for him using google. No luck, just found his expensive yacht somewhere on the east coast (Florida?). Then I started researching the Zodiac line again and noticed his name. I suspect Yukon may have been bought out by Zoidac to get them out of the business and recuit someone who knew something about inflatables.
I don't have access to my file right now, but if you can wait until mid June I can email you back with the name. His first name I think was Helmut.
